luvu is operated by Subatix Inc., a company registered in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the luvu mobile application and related services (collectively, “the Service”).

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

• Account information: name, email address, and Apple ID credentials provided during Sign in with Apple
• Profile information: age range, gender, relationship intent, experience preferences, budget range, energy level, and availability
• Photos: profile photos and selfie verification images you upload
• Activity data: experiences you apply to, time window selections, matches, confirmations, and in-app messages
• Device information: device type, operating system version, and app version
• Usage data: pages visited on our website, interactions, and referral information collected via analytics tools

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate your identity
• To match you with compatible users for shared experiences based on your preferences
• To facilitate communication between matched users via in-app chat
• To verify your identity through selfie verification
• To send you notifications about matches, messages, and service updates
• To improve the Service, fix bugs, and develop new features
• To enforce our Terms of Use and protect the safety of our users

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information in the following circumstances:

• With other users: when you are matched, your first name, age range, profile photo, and verification status are shared with your match. Your full name, email, and other account details are never shared with other users.
• With service providers: we use trusted third-party providers for hosting (AWS), database (Neon), authentication (Apple), file storage (AWS S3), and analytics. These providers process data solely on our behalf.
• For legal compliance: we may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Subatix Inc. or our users.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure Keychain. We host our infrastructure on trusted cloud providers (AWS, Neon) with appropriate security controls. We retain your information only as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

6. Analytics and tracking

On our website, we use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to understand visitor behavior and measure advertising effectiveness. These tools may collect your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs. This data is processed in accordance with Google's and Meta's respective privacy policies. The mobile application does not currently use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data and account
• Request portability of your data in a machine-readable format
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent
• Opt out of marketing communications

You can delete your account directly within the app under Profile > Delete account. To exercise any other rights, contact us at contact@subatix.com.

8. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies to ensure proper functionality and analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. The mobile application does not use cookies.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
